I’m Arlon Mukeba…

I’m an Experienced Android Developer.

I'm Passionate about Java and Android Development, and am very familiar with the latest trends and mobile technologies (Firebase, Realm, SugarORM, Material Design, etc...) I've been an Android Developer for more or less 5 years, after working on various other platforms (J2ME, Windows Phone, BlackBerry).

I've some experience with React Native and Kotlin.

I'm also skilled in Java, C#, C, C++, Assembly, Ruby on Rails, PHP, SQL, JavaScript (and related libraries). I hold a National Diploma in Computer Engineering from the Tshwane University of Technology and a Degree in the same field from the University of South Africa.

I’m Currently pursuing my Postgraduate studies in Computer Engineering, and taking part-time classes towards a Physics Degree.

I’m Self-motivated, always willing to get to the next level.

I’m also Passionate about poetry (English and French), languages in general, history, science, geography, music and nature.

Over the course of my career, I've worked for/with some of the greatest companies and businesses in South Africa; one of them is the group Checkers/Shoprite, which is the largest Africa's retail business.

The projects I've been involved in, most of which I've single-handedly developed, make use of some of the most exciting features, such as age and location-based Push notifications, Augmented Reality, Geolocation with Google maps, to name a few.

Work ethics, diligence, good time management and great attention to details are some of the qualities I pride in.
