Apparently the best way to earn reputation at this site is to ask a naive question like "What's the difference between the stack and the heap?" or "How do I see if a file exists in Python?" and just watch the numbers go up and up. Unbelievable. Meanwhile detailed questions and answers get squat. Somehow I don't see myself hanging out here very often!

A week later now ... getting a BIT less cynical about reputation.
