My background is in sales and digital marketing (especially content marketing and SEO).

For 10+ years I have lived in Thailand, where I have from the ground up built and managed my own online businesses, as well as working with clients, using my digital marketing skills.

After relocating back to my native country, Germany, in 2020, I worked as Marketing Manager for a division of a leading German manufacturer of medical products.

While working on my own businesses I also learned how to build my own websites and landing pages with WordPress, and how to rank them in the search engines.

Over time I realized that I actually enjoy building websites much more than marketing them and so my journey into web development began.

During the last 2 years I have taken online courses to learn how to build websites from scratch and built small projects in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as React. Initially, this was to satisfy my own curiosity, but the more I learned and the more time I spent with code the more I had to admit that this is what I truly want to do as a career.

Having spent many late nights in the last 2 years learning to code on my own, I eventually decided to fully commit to this new career.

In order to improve my knowledge and get more practical coding experience I joined Integrify Academy in Finland remotely as Fullstack developer trainee in early 2022.

There I got the chance to learn and work with TypeScript, React, Redux, Node.js, Express and MongoDB and got really excited about Jamstack architecture. Among other things I built a headless e-commerce site from scratch using a headless commerce solution that allowed me to learn more about the concept.

Now I am transitioning from my current role to a full-stack developer role in an exciting company that allows me to develop and build interesting projects and grow as a developer.
