If you don't mind, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Tom Douglas, and I’m a developer based in Austin, Texas. I spent well over eight years helping web design studios, advertising agencies, and businesses create great tech products. After a stint working in EdTech organizations, I’ve decided to pivot back to providing freelance development services as a contract professional.

Being an effective individual contributor in the tech world is the one calling I truly love. I currently specialize in full-stack JavaScript and PHP applications that use MySQL or Postgres as the data store. This includes popular front end libraries such as ReactJS and Angular, as well as backend libraries such as Node.js and Laravel. I'm no stranger to creating iOS and Android mobile apps and I love React Native. I can also provide expert level DevOps support on Amazon Web Services, know and understand Agile methodologies as well as Test Driven Development, and am comfortable operating as a principal, senior, or team lead developer.

I've recently expanded my horizons into the Ethereum platfrom, hoping to get real-world ready repos with quality examples distrubted apps (Dapps) online very soon.
