I am a psychologist who turned his favourite occupation into his profession: I love programming as I love to quickly analyse complex matter, get the big picture and find viable and creative solutions, be it in technical or in organisational matters. I believe that loosely coupled small independent teams deliver the best results. Isn't it fascinating that the same might be true for applications as well? That's why I like the cloud, k8s and microservice- or even serverless envs, even if that means that sooner or later I'll have to abandon my beloved JVM-based languages towards some more cloud-ready approach...
