My name is Jim Jones and I have worked professionally as a software engineer for 10+ years.

I have authored a couple of Ruby gems including Turkee and SexItUp

I am the sole creator of RunFatBoy.net, a workout prescription system designed specifically for beginners. At launch, the site made the front page of Digg.

My latest Rails project is called JimAsks.me, a question and answer site that focuses heavily on divisive and controversial questions.

I have been working with Rails since October of 2005. I founded the Omaha Rails User Group in August of 2008. I moved out to the San Francisco Bay Area in September of 2010 and currently work at Zvents in San Mateo as a Rails Engineer.
