I am a self-taught hacker/tinkerer with a penchant for learning new things, especially software and programming languages. I have experience as a network administrator and in-house programmer in a small business setting, and have also worked as a contract web developer on several occasions.

I would definitely consider myself a generalist, as I have varying amounts of exposure to a number of languages/platforms, though Ruby has been my go-to recently when it comes to building things. I'm very interested in Haskell and planning to work my way through Real World Haskell in the near future.
