I program because I love it. I really do consider it an art form. Instead of pigments and brushes, programmers use logic and symbols. Instead of a visual picture, we 'paint' a logical picture. This, I call fun. I program for the web because it's an evolving technology. I was struggling with laying out pages with tables when CSS came along and I rejoiced. I was still struggling with rounded corners in a 3 x 3 table when CSS3 came along and I embraced it with all the excitement of a kid in a candy store.

It's far better to stare at a screen for 20 minutes and write 15 lines of elegant solution than spend 30 minutes writing 100 lines of spaghetti.
