Hi All,

I've just reached retirement age - come on all sing "Happy Birthday" - and I thought I might try to give back some of what I have learned over the years.

I have forgotten how to program in more computer languages than most people will ever learn.

My favourite languages are those in the Lisp family: Common Lisp, Elisp, Scheme etc.. Coming in second are languages like Haskell and Ocaml. I do a bit of Assembler from time to time. I once programmed a game in Z80 machine code without a proper assembler, just a program that converted hexadecimal numbers into binary, but that was a long time ago when I was much younger, I wouldn't have the stamina for it now, but it wouldn't be necessary now either.

My most unfavourite language is COBOL, with the C family (C, C++, C#, Java etc.) being a close contenders for this position.
