I am a software developer from Fresno, California with 20 years of full-lifecycle development experience, and I am currently employed as a Software Engineer Analyst by the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools. I am part of a small team that develops and maintains Cyber High, a standards-based digital curriculum delivery system that services high school students across California who require an alternative to a traditional classroom.
I have also worked as a self-employed software solutions architect and developer for most of my professional life. For my clients, I have designed, built and supported software that local school districts, credit unions around the country, and automotive collision repair facilities in the US and Canada have relied upon every day.
I am a Maker at heart - I always have a handful of projects I work on in my spare time. I do a little woodworking, blacksmithing, electronics work, among others. I have also been active in local theatre, having worked with Woodward Shakespeare Festival, The New Ensemble, and Good Company Players, as well as some small movie projects.
