I am a retired software architect and developer, with over 40 years of experience in a number of different technology stacks over the years: mainframe, then 16 bit minis, then Unix/C/C++, then Java, then .Net. In retirement I am still actively writing software as a hobby, and have written quite a bit of code in C++ for the Arduino platform, .Net Core for backend web API code, web applications in ASP.Net Core, and utilities using WinForms. I am also developing my own iPhone apps in Swift that tie into my Arduino and backend .Net Core code via API's and MQTT.
