I am a research scientist, working in THz Photonics. I use C/C++ reasonably confidently for writing numerical simulation software for modelling optoelectronic devices.

I am also a developer for Inkscape, currently doing a bit of work on Ubuntu packaging and migration to GTK+ 3.
