After a career of well over ten years as an electrotechnical engineer in industrial automation and robotics, I switched to software engineering in the early days of the DotCom hype, with a focus on artificial intelligence and data mining. After completing my Ph D in complex systems / complexity thinking in 2010, I have assumed more roles in research and education. With the growth of IoT devices, my two passions of electronics and artificial intelligence are gradually coming closer together.
