My name is Jonatas Emidio, Java Developer living in Rio de Janeiro, working as a Technical specialist for Pontifícia Universidade Católica which is one of the best private Universities of South America, in a Geophysics module that helps Oil & Gas Companies process their Non Seismic Movement information.

As a developer with more than 10 years of experience I have been working in different type of projects, from CMMI style to Agile.

In addiction to my work experience I also enjoy keeping in touch with the Software Community. This is one of my favorite way to stay updated and I have been organizing the GDGRio (Google Developer Group from Rio de Janeiro) for at least 3 years, running tech events and giving tech talks.
