I worked as an intern/Systems Analyst for 2 years at a Health Plan (medical) while completing my MIS bachelor's degree. Recently, I have switched organizations and I my new position is IT applications Developer. I have very little programming experience. The organization I work for is a C# .NET and Oracle 11g shop. I am relatively comfortable with basic SQL and I understand some fundamental programming principles, a beginner's Java course was part of my degree program.

My first projects at my new position have been creating RDLC reports. Many of the classes used for the reports have already been developed, so my experience has been copy/paste and add the code necessary to make the reports work. I am looking forward to learning the C# language, and sharpening my SQL skills (which I have found incredibly similar to Java thus far) while delving deeper into more advanced programming concepts.
