I am a programmer with a taste for many languages -- C++, C, C#, D, perl, Icon... For the last dozen years, I have largely specialized in Windows Installer work, using WiX and Installshield.

I am a born nerd. I got my first electronics kit for Christmas when I was 6. My first computer used a teletype terminal, my second vacuum tubes. I'm a ham radio operator (N7DAI), a former disc jockey and broadcast engineer -- and, oddly enough, my wife and I owned a direct-mail|Internet coupon franchise, so I speak hu-mon as well as geek. Age? Let's just say I'm old enough to know better.

My son is a dual C.S./math major in college, where they teach him C++... so I get to help him with his homework. How cool is that??
