I'm retired, but still work as a part time subcontractor for a company that edits large technical publications. I write scripts to assist our editors in finding and correcting punctuation, formatting, technical spelling, hyphenation, capitalization, acronym definition and usage errors. I have no formal coding training, but am self taught on ExtendScript for FrameMaker, JavaScript, Visual Basic, and Visual Studio. I'm just smart enough on all of these to be dangerous.
