First computer was an IBM 360. Worked three years full-time writing interactive organic chemistry nomenclature tutorials for local community college while a student there. Bought my first calculator from M.I.T.S. in Albuquerque (NM). After a short stint in Sales, found a position in premiere machine tool company R&D designing and coding machine tool / CNC control software interface using TurboPascal then TurboC then a customized ADA package from G.E. for their CNC control product (before that division was sold to Fanuc). During this time earned my Bachelors in EE at RIT night school. Remainder of 20+ years divided evenly between the passenger rail business and the glass container forming/inspection machine business. Hiatus from engineering world in 2006 to take on Autistic grandson and care for elderly parent. That's it in a nutshell.
