I was born in Albany NY and attended Reed College in Portland, OR, graduating in 1999 with a degree in biochemistry & molecular biology.

In 2002 I receieved a masters in biophysics from Cornell University and on 2009 I received a second masters in computational and mathematical engineering from Stanford University.

Also in 2009, I joined my first startup. It was a biotech company called Genia Technologies which was acquired by Roche in 2014.

I'm currently working as a data scientist at a nonprofit startup called Bayes Impact and founding my own startups.
