After winding down a successful 20+ year career in the coin-operated amusement games industry, I decided to become a professional web developer. So, back in 2006, I hunkered down and taught myself the art and science of web design and development with the help of some who I consider to be masters of the game. I've always been able to teach myself new things by reading books on various subjects and it turned out that folks like Jeffrey Zeldman, Andy Clarke, Jim Krause, John Allsopp, Molly Holzschlag, Joe Clark, David McFarland and many others all turned out to be wonderful teachers. I could not have done it without them.

Since that time I have worked side-by-side with my wife, Ann, a writer who spends her days penning articles for such well known sites as Healthline, Care2, and others. And while Ann writes I work on the many websites that I've created, both for my own clients and those of other companies who have come to value my work as a trusted and experienced subcontractor.
