I started my software engineering life in the fall of 1999. I started learning C++, thereafter I got immersed in the world of Macromedia Flash. I worked as a Flash developer writing dynamic content while applying vectors and animations. In the growth and death of that platform acquired then to Adobe, I looked at Android early on, but wasn't confident enough. I thought I needed to learn really well the platform so I spent a good chunk of time learning.

Being jobless as I could no longer work doing Flash for obvious reasons as the technology died. I took time to learn PHP and Wordpress development. I really liked how fun and simple it was to write custom plugins, and also get to work in several sites. I also managed to work with single page applications in that platform with the use of Knockout JS and Angular. But doing all of this wasn't really satisfactory, I wanted to do a far more interactive way to relate to users, and specially in small screens, so I stopped working and dedicated a lot of time to learn Kotlin and different libraries to make my own applications, and at the same time starting a solid career in mobile development. I was fortune I could have crossed over from Web to Mobile. Since then I have been very fascinated by Android even after spending a good amount of time working in Flutter. It was temporary but wanted to so bad to come back to Android.

In the future I plan to learn the fundamentals of iOS so I can work closer to that team and correlate better with developing features. I have a big interest in Kotlin multi-platform as well.

I started at 24 and I am now 47. I can say I have so much interest and passion I can do this for far more. :)
