I am first-employee and Artificial Intelligence Scientist at Deepgram, where I am responsible for all of our AI research and development. We use deep learning to power AI speech search and transcription. I am also the project manager and chief engineer for Kur, a descriptive deep learning framework which we use at Deepgram for training our models.
I have a Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of Michigan. Before joining Deepgram, I was a research scientist at Soar Technology, where I developed state-of-the-art cognitive agents that model human reasoning, as well as AI technology for monitoring drivers in semi-autonomous vehicles.
