I have been a PHP programmer since 1996 (yeah, the beginning!) and currently I'm checking out node.js by converting one of my php/mysql websites to a node.js based framework.

My wife and I also run a parrot rescue, http://www.birdline.ca and we are owned by a very handsome little Bernese Mountain Dog named Brody!
