I like a sensible workflow - carefully choosing when to engage in strategy, experimentation or building.

I also like team members to feel empowered through learning, mentoring and discussions which result in guidance.

Other than that, you can always bet on quality code. I find the purity of functional programming helpful, and the simplicity of composition is becoming more and more useful.
