Wim is a seasoned software engineer with proven team-leader skills and wide technical knowledge (Java, EAI, Content Management, BI) who is used to communicate in multiple languages and who has worked together with near shore and off shore teams.

In the past, Wim has been responsible for projects in the lottery (10 years), in the telecom sector (7 years) and in the social security related sector. These projects have been executed with large teams and very often in an international context (UK, US, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands).

During last 4 years, Wim has been working again as a Java software engineer, on a freelance basis (Delaware, HP, Telenet). As a Java software engineer, Wim has become acquainted again with the latest frameworks, DevOps tools and methodologies. Mission at HP resulted in a contented customer (Vlaamse Overheid) because of the team-spirit, the team’s competence and the successful deliverables.

Wim is known to be pragmatic, inquisitive and result driven but remains modest and enjoys working with a team in a no-nonsense and slightly structured environment.
