Let me introduce myself. I am product of the internet generation, though just barely. I first got the internet as a kid when I was 10 (1994) using a blazing 14.4 kbit/s modem and developed my first application when I was 14 (1998/1999~) in VB6. The complexity and quality of my code has of course matured over the years but my passion remains the same, as I love to develop and build things.
Since then I have earned a Bachelors degree with emphasis in Information Technology Management. I done so while I serving eight years in the Army, most of which as Active Duty. Once I earned my degree, I got out of the Army and transitioned into the IT industry as a software developer and I haven't looked back since! I started out building custom solutions as part of a services team and worked my way up into a core product development role where I am now.
From my various personal development projects (which are numerous) as well as experience acquired from my day job, I can confidently say that no matter the problem I can quickly get up to speed with whatever background information / technologies that I may need to know and understand in order to begin building things and solving problems.
However, since we can’t be all business all the time, I also love getting to spend free time with my wife (also a developer) and daughter, along with the occasional woodworking project to supplement my need to build things (since not all things can be built with code alone) and if there is ever an excuse to listen to live music I am always up for that ( Fun fact: I was a declared music production major at one time).
