I started writing computer programs with BASIC 30+ years ago on an Amstrad CPC 464. Sir Alan Sugar's wonderful creation (Sugar for Prime Minister, well, Trump made it).
But the first time I entered a program into a computer was on a ZX Spectrum 48k from books and books of mythical code. It was horrible typing in code with those rubber keys, but I didn't know any better.
And now, 30 years later, I am trying to learn Python and C++. My first hurdle was getting to grips with code not having line numbers anymore. Lol
