BIO: Unfortunately I've been on disability for over 10 years now. Something I've always wanted to do, ever since I was a kid, was to make games. I just had this notion that programming was only for super smart people. Boredom, however, got me to try learning how to program.
Over the past few years I've been reading and watching tutorials all over the web, slowly learning programming and various technologies, with C# as my primary language. I think I've got the basics down, but lack a lot of experience. Especially in planning and breaking down projects into managable chunks. Which leads to a ton of unfinished projects.
Quite proudly, the first year I ended up making a PacMan clone from scratch using XNA, but stopped at working prototype stage. A depression killed motivation, but I kept dabbling with vairous other technologies from time to time. Learning when bored became a thing for me. Some time later, I returned to game-developement just to find XNA obsolete. Over the past few years I've started to dabble in UNITY3D as well as learn some web-developement with ASP.NET and Angular as the major ones. Again, plenty of unfinished projects, but it's ok. I didn't really have any goals in mind. I just needed something to do.
Recently I've begun focusing my efforts again at game-development and I now spent a lot of time learning related topics (modeling, animating, particle effets, etc) and prototype various things I want to figure out how to do in UNITY3D, while I try to work out the plan for the game.
DREAMS: My dream is, to someday become proficient enough to actually be able to earn some money with programming/game-development so I can finally get out of this god-forsaken rutt, disability.
