What can I say? I'm a modest guy. I'm probably the most modest person in this country, maybe even the world! Ehhh... jokes. Enough of the silliness!
I like to laugh and solve problems. So development is the perfect world for me. Where else in the professional world could I have a pick-up rubik's cube race? Other professions don't have compile time! I'm no designer, though. Give me any problem and I will beat it into the ground until I can solve it in my sleep, but please don't ask me to make an interface look pretty. I develop internally! No, I will not change the font to blue comic sans for you!
Web development is what I do. I have mostly stuck to .NET - I love all flavors, but most recently MVC - and I sprinkle in some TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout, Backbone or AngularJS. I didn't realize until just recently that I have been heading toward creating SPAs with only sparse help from .NET in the form of web service calls like getJSON.
Also, I can feel myself being pulled the direction of AngularJS, and I gotta say that it feels good. I plan to leverage my (little) TypeScript know-how to help lubricate the transition of the .NET programmers I work with. "JavaScript is scary!" says they. sigh
May you receive good luck in all endeavors.
Peace, Love, Pope
