My background is diverse in terms of career paths, industries I have worked on, technologies and platforms used. Other skills I have developed during my career include expertise on software architecture and engineering, project management, usage of international standards, and training, to list a few among the most relevant.

My continuing development includes being an ACS member, undertaking a variety of professional and community-related courses and seminars, and parenthood. I have had the fortune, as well, of being exposed to multiple cultures in different countries, either for professional or volunteer work. I consider myself a dedicated, creative, detailed, hard-working professional, with an innate ability to learn fast and understand new concepts quickly.

Relating to my entrepreneurship, I do part-time and on-demand IT consulting and development on a per-project basis, trading as SR2, and specialising in custom-made software solutions. It implies fulfilling roles within the full spectrum of the application development lifecycle, based on the requirements of each project.

As a complement to my IT career, I have worked in the Education industry within professional and volunteer organisations involved with the development of leadership on young people. In those instances, I was able to develop my skills in teamwork, leadership, project planning and management, training, and interpersonal relationships.
