I am a systems, network, security and application development professional. I am well versed in many of the technologies that have come along since the 1990's. I specialize in implementations with FOSS (free and open source software) products and have deployed these solutions in a wide range of heterogeneous environments. In addition to the over 20 years I have working in information technology, I also hold a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering.

Bit of a mouthful there... basically, I'm a nerd, geek, egghead, techie (trekkie? yup, that too) or whatever the "cool" new phrase is being used today. I love all things technology related and enjoy helping people make it work for them. I'm equally comfortable in causal and business attire too :)

To balance that out, I also write music, cycle or do other things to keep my head from leaning to much to the left side ;)
