I started programming as a kid. Started w/ basic, pascal and then C and later C++. I’ve worked w/ C++ for the past 20 years. Finished my masters in CS at BUI and started working at Comverse, and later Cisco, on network products on linux platform. My work is usually on semi RT environment so a lot of care is given to get adequate performance, so efficient parallelism and algorithms are important. My biggest contribution was for a project that required developing proper infrastructure for an efficient server that handles hundreds of transactions per second and can scale.
