I'm a biologist and technical writer by training and trade and a process improvement fanatic by impatience. I spend a lot of time constructing systems to make my personal and work lives easier, and this has recently landed me in a position where I am the admin for my workgroup's SharePoint site. It's a steep learning curve, but I'm having a blast being able to take my writing, science, and system dev work out of the mechanical realm and apply it to a computer system. It's inspired me to recently start learning how to program so I can eventually design and build my own programs.
