I lecture full-time in computing in Dublin, Ireland. Currently my main technologies are web development (HTML/CSS/JS - MySQL-PHP-Symfony2/Twig) and 3D games development (C# in Unity). My honours year and research students focus on e-learning applications within these technologies.

Since the economic crash in Ireland I've been doing my best to get my software development back up to commercial quality (am hoping to get Symfony2 certification this year) - even though I have tenure I'm not too sure how much pension will be left in the Irish national reserve by the time I retire :-(

but mostly I spend free time with my kids, while trying to get a black belt in Taekwon-Do (I'm about a year away still if things continue to go well ...) I run my club's website (Symfony2 of course): maynoothtkd.com
