I'm a mathematician who's programmed since I was 9 years old (in 1956, in the assembly language of the ANFSQ7 computer). I've worked in and out of the software industry (BB&N, IBM) and have taught computer science courses. I was once the official "keeper" of the code for the LOGO programming language.
