A wild and varied career includes being a high school band director, a USAF jet pilot, an academic educator, and a computer professional. Areas of expertise include:
- Music, to include Finale engraving, composing, arranging, conducting, group management, publishing, recording, and audio editing.
- EDUCATION, to include instructional systems development, course development, objectives development, communication skills, evaluations and measurements (test construction, test analysis), and classroom presence.
- COMPUTER PROGRAMMING, to include Microsoft Access and VBA development (including OOP), PHP, CSS3, HTML, some javascript and jquery.
- WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT, this is my "retirement job." It pays for all my computer equipment, it's fun, I'm good at it, and am now a WordPress proponent.
- VIDEO TUTORIAL PRODUCTION, which I started for fun but has now morphed into a truly fun way to share my experience with a much wider audience. Go to YouTube and search for David's Tutorials - it should be the top listing.
Even though I have been retired nearly 20 years, I am so much busier now, I frequently wonder how I had time for LIFE when I had a full-time job.
