I am working for the platform team of NetScout's Distributed System - nG1. Day to Day activities involve :

1. Maintain the backend framework.
2. Develop platform components for backend server/processes or distributed framework.
3. Components to help the platform more scalable.
4. JVM tunning, GC configuration. JVM Performance monitoring tools.
5. Tools to monitor and log different health parameters of the overall platform.
6. Works with DevOps on Git/Maven/Jenkins maintaining build environments.
7. Design the deployment of application in containerized environment using Docker, Kubernetes.
