Overall QA and Testing Experience:

Customer facing applications or websites ERPs Installation testing Projects with no interface only back-end validation Business rules testing Requirement reviews etc. I thrive in roles where I assist my developers to do a better job. Together we created (may not great) good products to the best of our abilities in the time we are given with the resources we are provided. Testing against the requirements is only 10% of QA. Testing for standards, usability, navigation, guidance to the user is another 50% of the QA. Testing to make sure the other functionality that is not provided in the requirements still exists with or without a few changes is another 20% of QA. Judging an application based on the knowledge received from the organization and the business vision is another 20% of QA.

Leadership:

The best way to lead a team is to understand the individuals and assure them that I have their back. Their success is theirs but their failure is ours. “The strength of the Pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack”. – Rudyard Kipling I am always in mentoring mode no matter what my title tells me. My main goal is to make sure my team members are independent. They know exactly what is expected of them by their project needs. I care about status reports just as much as I care about standards.

Testing:

I don't believe in trying to break the applications I am working with. I believe in trying to make them better. BTW, I do not believe in perfection, it leaves no room to grow. And I believe my applications can be bettered everyday.
