I have been a programmer since 1982. My first programming language was 6502 assembly language. Since then, I have been a professional programmer using Clipper, VB3 through VB6, MS SQL, Objective-C and Swift.
One of my specialties seems to be noticing gaps in available apps. I try to develop unique apps. My only free app addresses a prevalent security vulnerability in iOS. I have a list of roughly 80 apps to develop. Two of those are in development. Both of them are graphics apps that manipulate images in ways that Photoshop cannot. I currently have 16 apps in Apple’s App Store.
Along the iOS development journey, I unintentionally created new technology. One of those is something that would expand Photoshop’s capabilities. Another one benefits the visually impaired in a new way. A third one can help to reduce domestic violence and bullying. These technologies will be patented as soon as it becomes financially feasible.
I was invited to participate in a “Build a Cheaper Ventilator” contest. The majority of the designs were strictly mechanical... no monitoring, no ability to compensate and no ability to notify. My design was built upon existing ventilators to strengthen their potential points of failure. One of which is the number of individual parts per ventilator. Any delay in any of the supply chains, leads to delays in shipping ventilators. It turns out my design is especially practical for people using ventilators at home. However, personnel and ventilator resources to pursue and develop my ventilator design, will not be available until after the pandemic.
I enjoy learning and keeping up to date. Especially with Xcode and all aspects of iOS app development. I enjoy challenging work that keeps my mind busy.
In January 2018, I adopted two sons. Smartest thing I have ever done. My sons are 10 and 14. My future is all about supporting them and being the best Dad I can possibly be.
Thank you.
