I am web developer and a PHP & JavaScript programmer, owner of an online shop store with vinyl records, called Winyle Online.

I started my adventure with programming at the end of 80's, when I had a Commodore 64 computer. I tried to write programs and games in BASIC on my own, basing on only one book with documentation of this language. I remember this period most fondly. In the 90s I learned Pascal and C. After the year 2000 I started seriously thinking about programming and web development. I liked the PHP language and since then I've been working in it. By the way I also learned Javascript and MySql very well.

Here You can find one of my earlier projects in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9w2P0-NWRmU

It was inspired by this: http://www.netjukebox.nl/

It has now a lot of more functions since the day it was recorded and what you see in the video. Fun fact is that I started it before the jQuery was even available. That were hard times to code :)

I later built a celebrity height information portal that had several thousand artists in the database (http://web.archive.org/web/20130805065347/http://wzrostgwiazd.info/). At the time, I filled an information gap (niche) with Google, but they later caught on and started returning direct answers to queries about celebrity height. So there was no point in developing this any further.

About my shop

In my online shop you can find brand new and used gramophone records (vinyls) and compact discs. I have been collecting them for over twenty years. Many of the records of which I was the first owner have already been sold, but you can still find some in the assortment. They are in really excellent (almost perfect) condition.

I built it on my own, using my knowledge in programming.
