Computer programmer at Texas Biomedical Research Institute in San Antonio Texas since 1995. From 1998-2014 I was software architect and chief programmer of SOLAR, a statistics program used by thousands of scientists in genetics. SOLAR uses C++, Fortran, and Tcl. In 2015 I started working with Perl.
Previously programmed for General Electric Calma R&D in San Diego, Prime Computervision, US Civil Service, and Pomona College. I wrote a free program GFFT for Amiga computers.
Also a far out audiophile, classical+jazz+rock music lover, econoblog reader and writer, and I have hosted a monthly discussion and movie party since 2001 for Mensa.
