Hello, my name is Paul, and I am located in the Philadelphia area. I am currently enrolled in an online M.S. Computer Science program at the University of Louisville, where I have learned how to build Java web applications and work with MySQL databases. In addition, thanks to previous roles, I have ample experience with JavaScript ES6, Java, jQuery, SQL, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS.

On top of the Master's program, I am always upgrading my skillset in other ways, and so presently I am teaching myself React and Node from various resources. I know from previous roles as a Web Developer that the profession involves constant learning, especially on one's own.

These previous roles include two positions as a Web Developer, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I used the aforementioned technologies to build UX/UI designs for a small software company in Norristown, PA and a government contractor called IT Concepts, Inc in the Washington, D.C. area. I have also taught coding over the past 1.5 years with Thinkful, Inc.

I feel like a natural on the front-end and with the courses I have already taken at Louisville, my back-end skills have greatly improved. In light of all of that information, my ultimate hope is to earn a position as a Full-Stack Software Engineer.
