I've been coding in C++ for a long time, but it was only for a game, so I didn't really do any of the low level coding... Now I code in VB.net, which is the first language I actually used to write real programs and not gaming modules, and I love the ease of the language...

Though a lot of people knock High Level Languages, I don't see the need to code hardware or design an OS, as some people might, and so it works for me!
