Hi everyone,

I have lived in the Philippines where I quality managed a small dental office in Timog, Quezon City (now remotely).

Having had a lot of free time on my hands, I decided to learn a some computer code to make a hand-crafted website (the guys we tried to hire didn't really show up).

So, I made a responsive Wordpress site that I customized a bit, with the help of many, many, many youtube-tutorials, CSS-blogs and of course Stackoverflow :) It's not yet 100% finished (it never is), but brings in the occasional, educated patient that knows about the internet outside socmed.

My original background is languages (linguistics; hence my alias "S3ntence"), and I decided to treat HTML and CSS as 'languages', too: In a moment of frustration, very similar to that which I felt back when I was 5 years old and my parents were reading and writing in front of me, I just couldn't take it anymore, not being able to read and write code to / for the computer.

I'm still far from being a coding guru / programmer, but after some self-study, I'm able to create websites that are arguably on par with what you get with 'quick-and-easy-website-builders' while being much smaller, and arguably worse than what an expert would create with a perfectly-tweaked theme etc. but definitely getting there... I know what responsive is, and what event listeners are. I can extract useful info from the inspector console, and set up the occasional WP page.

I enjoy StackOverflow as a tremendously helpful resource in my life-long learning journey.

Most recently, I'm the co-founder of a marketing agency (more info coming soon...) and the president of an NGO that helps Ukrainian refugees in our area.

I also offer 3D-printing services, including to companies trying to get their prints adhere to the print bed.
