Living in Germany, programming now for nearly 25 years, starting with BASIC on a Commodore 64, then via a AMIGA 500 I came to the first i386 PC.

Later when training to be qualified IT specialist, I learned Ansi C, Cobol, fooled around shortly with C++, had a crash course on JAVA, learned PL/SQL and TSQL, but got stuck in the end doing classic ASP for intranet applications with vbScript.

From then it went to ASP.NET with C#. I got stuck in a big project fo 10 years in which I mainly focussed on service development, business logic and database persistances.

Now I've finally managed to come to new project, been learning patterns and OO architecture, more frameworks. My current project involves Solr and I am playing around with other NoSql data bases.
