I watched my father play games on the computer when I was younger. I eventually got my own computer and used it for gaming. My father and I talked a lot about computers and Linux (he was big into it in the late 90s and early 2000s) so I learned about linux but never used it. At the age of 11 I picked up HTML and moved quickly through CSS, Javascript, and started working in various other languages soon after. I became adept at Python programming and involved with a community of people who were developing packages Bodhi Linux and, consequently, aligned myself with a group of people involved in network/systems administration and learned a great deal from them. At about the age of 13 I bricked my computer by tampering with the BIOS on the board. On my new computer I moved rapidly through the operating systems and have settled out on Lubuntu and Arch Linux as my preferred OS's. I made many of my own mods for TES Oblivion and several OpenGL applications in Linux for myself.
Now, 18, I work on a large array of projects mostly involving C# and Python. I am preparing enlistment in the US Air Force (hopefully systems administration or cyberspace network administration) and when I get out I plan to apply at RedHat Enterprises. In addition, I am an avid chess player, magic the gathering player, and Dungeons & Dragons Player* in my free time. My chess elo averages 1800
*I also play Shadow Run and Star Wars RPG
