I am currently seeking a Software Development internship in Austin, Texas or remote for Spring 2022 and/or Summer 2022.

After receiving a BS in Chemistry from Texas State University, I decided I wanted to develop software. I started teaching myself Python, while at the same time I was being mentored by a good friend of mine. I gained much on-the-job experience as a Production Engineer at Zilliant, with Microsoft SQL Server, Python, Tableau, JIRA, and Confluence. Eventually, I started going back to school for a second degree in Software Development.

I specialize in Java, Python, C++, Jupyter Notebooks, SQL, databases, Linux bash scripting, Windows, and utilizing cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). I enjoy utilizing version control (git, Perforce), issue tracking, and updating internal documentation.

Most recently, I taught myself JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, Express, Flask, Java Spring / Spring Boot, Docker, and Android app development.
