Hi all, Self taught Visual Fox Pro programmer. Moderate level of expertise. Worked at a small software company as a support agent and small time programmer for avro computers (just me and the boss). An Australian company that supplies software to Pawnbrokers. The boss retired and i would be out of a job if i didn't buy the software from him, so i did. Bugger all business as of late, had to work as a pool fencer to make ends meet. The software is 20 years old and in need of a serious overhaul if i am to compete with emerging software for the industry. Writing a new program form scratch, want to use sql (POSTGRESQL) and xojo as the language. Really need some help as i have very limited SQL knowledge. I am used to working with dbase databases.
