I'm a graphic designer who has spent the last 6 years learning to code for the back end out of necessity, and before that, I was an editor who learned graphic design out of necessity. My experience is mostly with Cold Fusion, but I have also worked on C#/ASP.NET applications. Most of the applications I work on use either a Microsoft Access or SQL Server database. I rely on StackOverflow to answer questions ALL THE TIME, but after years lurking, I just created a user account. There are a handful of questions I visit over and over again to remind myself about the syntax for a particular query, script, or function. Even now, I've still got way more questions than answers.
