I've been around for a while but am still finding lots of life that is thoroughly exciting. Professionally, the journey from Algol 68 to Swift 2, from CDC-6600 to ESP8266, via too-many-to-list software and hardware stops along the way has never stopped being thrilling.
I'll just mention a few of my most enjoyable experiences:
- (accidentally) caused the evacuation of the world's largest nuclear reactor
- my school transfer application to UofU reviewed by Alan Kay
- made presentation to Steve Jobs but didn't get yelled at
- worked for Ashton-Tate, Apple, Google and Intuit
And I'm looking forward to many more enjoyable experiences!
